- Since reading this to my grandson, we have both been obsessed with Milton Hershey. We learned not only about his life, but the way he changed our country. Our next step is to visit Hershey, PA. Why not? We feel like we already know him personally. Now we want to see what he built in person!
- My child (9yo) loves this series of books. He started reading these in 2nd grade and his quest is to read them all. He comes home from school with interesting new facts to share. He’s extremely interested in history and these books cater to that.
- My 10-yr old son is really enjoying this book. We did a tour of Hershey this summer, and learned a little about Milton Hershey then. This is a great follow on read. One thing I love about this series my son is never bored! (In my experience, biographies can go either way.)
- This is my son's favorite book in this series. (We have read several.). It is well written, easy to comprehend, and contains lots of interesting info that we both have enjoyed a lot. Milton Hershey was a very interesting person. This book was a great find!
